November Second Baptism and Thanksgiving Fun

Well in November we had a second round of baptisms where four people were baptized from the Manantay area.  Their names are Antonia, Paula, Irma, and Davis.  In total we baptized, I believe 7 people that day.  We are also getting very close to the end of our work in Manantay.  We are about to accept several new members into the Church of the Nazarene somewhere around 24 people by the end of next month will be adopted as members of our church.  How exciting it is and somehow a little sad as by mid-december we will be saying goodbye to these wonderful people in Manantay.  We have laughed with these people and cried with them worked with them through many challenges and they are bearing the fruit of the Spirit.

Not all is sad though we celebrated an excellent Thanksgiving as well.  All made possible by some very generous friends of the Fosters in Tennessee.  Thanks to all of them for sending us some wonderful Thanksgiving food from the States.  We had Chocolate, Pumpkin, Pecan, and Cherry Cheesecake Pie along with Mashed Potatoes, Stuffing, Green Bean Casserole, and many other dishes.  We also had a new guest all through November who met his end on Thanksgiving Day.  That's right we bought a live turkey and had him for thanksgiving all in all it was a great day and wonderful time of fellowship for all of us, especially the north americans.

Thank you all for reading and be ready for the next episode and exciting conclusion of Going Off the Deep End's adventures in Manantay anyway haha.
